Please read these Terms carefully before using muretabi. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use muretabi. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow use by or collect data from children below this age; if we become aware of such use, we will terminate the account.
muretabi is a real-time group trip coordination app. It lets members of a trip share their live location, communicate by push-to-talk voice, and view distance and ETA to a shared destination.
muretabi is designed to be used hands-free and glance-only while driving. You are solely responsible for obeying all applicable traffic laws and road safety rules in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.
muretabi's core features require access to your precise location and microphone. Details of how this data is collected, used, and shared are set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to that collection and use.
Your live location is shared only with members of trips you actively participate in, and only while the trip is active. Voice is transmitted live and is never recorded or stored.
We may display advertisements on non-driving screens (e.g. the lobby and post-trip views). Advertisements are never shown in driving mode or while the vehicle is moving. Ad networks may collect a device advertising identifier subject to your consent. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may offer an optional "support the project" feature (e.g. a tip or donation). This is entirely voluntary and never required to access any feature of the app. Payments are processed by the relevant app store or third-party payment processor; their terms apply.
All content, design, source code, trademarks, and other materials in muretabi are our proprietary property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the app as described here.
Feedback: If you submit feedback, feature ideas, or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that input in any way we see fit, without any obligation to compensate you or credit you.
muretabi relies on third-party services (Google Sign-In, Supabase, LiveKit, PostHog, Sentry, OpenStreetMap, and others listed in our Third-Party Notices). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of those services. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pranav Upadhyay and any associated personnel from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of muretabi shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, India.

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will post the updated version in the app and change the effective date above. Continued use of muretabi after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes. Significant changes will be notified in-app.
