muretabi is a real-time "trip map" for groups travelling together: members of a trip share their live location with each other, talk by push-to-talk, and see distance/ETA to a shared destination. Location sharing is the core function of the app, so please read this policy carefully.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to trip data is restricted by server-side row-level security so only members of a trip can read its data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
Deleting your account: open the app → tap your profile picture → Edit profile → Delete account. This immediately and permanently erases your account and data (see Data retention for what is kept).

Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA.
Indian residents: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) you have the right to access information about your personal data, correct inaccurate data, erase your data, and nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity. Contact our Grievance Officer to exercise these rights.
muretabi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we become aware that a child below this age has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
We show ads on non-driving screens (e.g. the lobby and post-trip views) using Google AdMob. Ad SDKs may collect a device advertising identifier and usage data to serve and measure ads. We do not show ads in driving mode or while the vehicle is moving. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date above; significant changes will be highlighted in-app.
